The way humans use technology in their daily lives drew me to product management, and drives me still.
My bias toward utility over flashiness is the foundation of my product instincts, and helps me successfully lead and collaborate with other PMs, designers, and engineers.
Systems Thinker
I was trained to be an academic librarian, and because of this I see a product as a whole, and as a sum of its parts.
This way of seeing and thinking helps me channel my customer obsession into exceptional strategies, needs analysis, product roadmaps, and requirements definitions.
Mentor and Leader
It is my core belief that the fundamental requirement for building effective products is to connect and collaborate positively as individuals, and together as a unit.
Because of this core belief I am a natural "hype woman" and use my positivity to inspire, mentor, and lead.
